February Umrah Packages

February is a favourite off-peak month for Umrah from the UK. The weather is mild and comfortable, the Haram is generally less crowded than in December or Ramadan, and prices tend to be among the best value of the year — so your budget goes further on hotels close to Masjid al-Haram.

It also includes the UK February half-term, making it a convenient week for parents to travel with their kids, and for families to perform Umrah together. With fewer crowds, performing tawaf around the Kaaba and sa'i is calmer and more comfortable for children and elderly pilgrims.

One important point for 2026: Ramadan is expected to begin around mid-to-late February 2026 (subject to the moon sighting). That means early February is off-peak and excellent value, while the latter part of the month moves into Ramadan — a time of immense reward, but far busier and more expensive, with hotels near the Haram booked months ahead.

February days in Makkah and Madinah are pleasant and mild — typically the mid-to-high 20s°C — with cooler mornings and evenings. Pack light, breathable, modest clothing with a warm layer for the cool evenings and air-conditioned interiors.
